Nobody knows how it is that if a person decides to abandon the constraints of apparent sanity and live instead, certainly with greater awareness, yet in a state of near free-fall, denying the need either to visualise the future nor concern theirself overmuch with the consequences of having no immediate plan, the universe may begin to engage in the process of their new life with dynamic enthusiasm. It may be a startling discovery but, for some people, this is a reality which is now so commonly experienced as to be beyond question. This astonishing discovery is the province of the Realm of Guidance.

The Nomadic Oracle suggests that, in any exploration into consciousness, we learn that it is necessary to appreciate the mechanisms the universe uses to get our attention so that it is able to deliver its message. It rarely sends e-mails. The Spirit may have infinite knowledge but will not speak. Often it seems to be a case of being patient and quiet. Those who try to discuss their adventures eventually learn to guard their tongues because any expression of this extraordinary mystery will sound false, preposterous and even damaging to others who have not yet had the opportunity to experience the bizarre miracle of universal consciousness.

In a way, this is always going to be beneficial - one might have had an experience within the sanctity of one’s own process, and months later, have it affirmed in a totally different context.

Often, the universe seems to work the wrong way round. You may have asked for clarity for example, and then realise that what you have requested

you have being receiving for months but that you have become aware of it only when the very last part of the puzzle has been shown to you.

Sometimes it feels as if the angels keep us in suspense by flying backwards.

It is easy to see why this is so. Everything which can be described as subtle: the greater universe, terrestrial energy, spirit consciousness, the Spirit and unknown outer limits of our own subconscious, are seamlessly joined in a beautifully loving, timeless dance beyond our direct ability to perceive or to comprehend.

By contrast, our lives may be mundane, coarsened by our inability to see beyond our descriptions of the three-dimensional world. We appear to rush about in a whirlpool of limiting attachments and claim for ourselves images of self-identity with little or no knowledge of who or what we really are. Small turbulent pools of limitation desperately trying to make some sense of the infinite. With extraordinary love and compassion, the universe already knows this but cannot deliver all it’s lessons in an afternoon, in one day, in one year or even in a single lifetime.

It appears that there is no mechanism to infinite awareness which does not depend on our ability to discover the facts for ourselves. We might have received the gift we have requested in an instant, but it may take several months before we have unwrapped it. People who say that they simply haven’t the time to have this experience are right, they haven’t. It must always be a question of choice.

In every way imaginable the Nomadic Oracle is tied-in to this process. It offers the Reader an encyclopedic view of reality, split neatly into five frequencies or forms of energy naturally assisted by the Universe at play. But the connection runs far deeper. Both the artwork and the suggested relationships between the Senses, the Elements and the Aura and its areas of activity arrived through an extraordinary series of chance events clearly leading to guidance. The readings, of which there have been many, were often the subject of the most bizarre experiences. All this was seen as research, the work done since the Oracle was published has tested synchronicity to the limits. The author simply saw that there was a way for him to walk his own path which he could describe to himself as "nomadic, guided as much as possible, or as much as noticeable, by the Universe through chance and omens, rather than by desire or self-directed intention". He took the opportunity and the Oracle is the result.

Does an Oracle foretell the future? is a question which the Reader will end up deciding for theirself. The Nomadic Oracle, in use, is generally

invited to address a context within the question being asked. This is the procedure for the 7-card spread which is a recommended entry point in the exploration. The past is intimate, accessed through the Realm of Time.

In use, when the research has been documented for later study, the Oracle has never failed to address the context. What has happened on several, many or perhaps on all occasions is that the information has become absorbed into the sub-conscious of the Reader. This is made easier by the strength of the illustrations, which are distinct enough to become memorable, like the faces of old friends. As the situation develops, the reading begins to make increasing sense. This in turn automatically fires up the sub-conscious. The resulting inevitable resonance is an amazing empowerment. The clarity of the Reader and an ability simply to suspend judgement is sufficient to allow the Oracle to do its work. Such empowerment is protective. The sub-conscious becomes increasingly active, awareness more alert. It is truly powerful magic if the Reader permits the resonance to become absorbed into the process of the self.
